Mumbai, Aug 23: A 24-year-old 'Govinda' died after struggling accidents within the Dahi Handi pageant following which police registered an FIR towards the occasion organiser, an official mentioned on Tuesday.
Sandesh Dalvi, a member of the Shiv Shambho Govinda Pathak group, suffered critical head accidents after he fell from a human pyramid fashioned by 'Govindas' (Dahi Handi members) throughout the Krishna Janmashtami celebration at Bamanwadi in Vile Parle space on Friday.

He died on the Nanavati Hospital on Monday night time, the official from Vile Parle police station mentioned.

Following his loss of life, the police have added Indian Penal Code sections 304-A (inflicting loss of life by negligence) and 338 (inflicting grievous damage by act endangering life) to the FIR, the official mentioned.
No arrest has been made to this point, he mentioned, including that additional investigation into the case is on.
