Pon Manickavel is an upcoming Tamil action-drama written and directed by AC Mugil Chellappan. Produced by Nemichand Jhabak and Hitesh Jhabak of Jhabak Movies, Pon Manickavel Tamil Movie features Prabhu Deva and Nivetha Pethuraj in the lead roles.
For the first time, dancer and actor Prabhu Deva is going to play the role of a police officer. Along with Prabhu Deva and Nivetha Pethuraj, the movie also features Mahendran and Suresh Menon in supporting roles. Music Director D. Imman will be composing the songs and background music for this movie. K.G. Venkatesh of Sathuranga Vettai will handle the cinematography work. The makers of the movie took the movie to a digital streaming platform. Disney+ Hotstar acquires the streaming rights and it will be premiered on November 19, 2021.
