BJP's Meghalaya chief Shibun Lyngdoh has stated that folks can't be stopped from consuming beef within the state and his social gathering is not going to assist any "anti-constitutional" transfer to ban the slaughter and sale of cattle.
"The BJP does not support anything that is anti-constitutional. If somebody wants to eat beef, we cannot stop it. It is part of our lifestyle here," Lyngdoh advised reporters on the sidelines of a operate in Shillong on Tuesday.
